Making a podcast: Author Steven Manchester’s Christmas tale released as audio performance

SOMERSET — Just in time for the holidays, author Steven Manchester is marking a first: a musical podcast featuring his Christmas story, “The Thursday Night Club.”

The warmhearted Christmas tale is told over six episodes of the free podcast that features an elite cast including Golden Globe winner Kathleen Turner. Arielle Jacobs, star of Disney’s “Aladdin” on Broadway, introduces listeners to the story. It also features YouTube star Kurt Hugo Schneider and pop singer/songwriter Madilyn Bailey.
